Immersion in Paris
Hosted by the Paris Second Chance School and the French E2C Network, the first mobility brought together 21 participants from France, Spain, Portugal and the Czech Republic.
Participants observed training sessions, exchanged with learners and staff, and explored topics such as pedagogical approaches, youth support, active citizenship and cooperation with employers.
Immersion in Barcelona
Hosted by Gentis within the framework of the Noves Oportunitats programme, the second mobility brought together 18 participants and provided an opportunity to explore the Catalan approach to supporting young people. Activities included visits to training centres, discussions with professionals and learners, and workshops dedicated to partnership building and shared educational tools.
Immersion in Prague
Organised by EDUCA International and COPSU, the final mobility brought together project partners to conclude the exchange cycle. Participants explored the Czech adult education system, visited vocational training facilities, shared best practices and took part in thematic workshops.
Project outputs
The project resulted in shared resources designed to support professionals working with young people across Europe, including a Guide to Good Practices and a Podcast Series featuring professionals from participating organisations.

Annual Pedagogical Meeting
The first major activity of the project took place in Milan and brought together 49 trainers, educational coordinators and professionals from 10 European countries over three days. The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange practices promoting youth participation, share experiences and strengthen cooperation between partner organisations.
European Youth Council
In 2025, participating schools launched the process of establishing the European Youth Council. Youth ambassadors and substitute representatives were selected within the schools to represent young people at the European level. As part of this process, the Youth Agora Survey was distributed to more than 200 young people to gather their views on citizenship, participation and sense of belonging. The results will help inform the future work of the Council.
Online Exchange Workshops
Five online European workshops are being organised between February 2025 and September 2026. These sessions bring together groups of around twenty young people to gather their expectations,, ideas and priorities for the Youth Agora project. A common Youth Protection Policy was also co-created and validated by all project partners.
Preparatory Visit for the Youth Summit
A preparatory visit brought together the project team and partners in Matosinhos to prepare for the European Youth Summit scheduled for October 2026. Participants visited future event venues, met with representatives of the Municipality of Matosinhos and worked on the logistical, pedagogical and organisational aspects of the event. The visit also helped lay the foundations for cooperation with local stakeholders and prepare for the welcoming of more than 100 young people and professionals expected at the Summit.
Youth Summit & European Pedagogical Meeting
The Youth Summit and European Pedagogical Meeting will bring together more than 100 young people and professionals from partner countries. The event will foster shared proposals, showcase the work of the European Youth Council and contribute to the production of a documentary highlighting young people’s journeys and aspirations.
European institutional exchanges
The final stage of the project aims to enable a delegation of around twelve youth ambassadors to engage in institutional exchanges with European decision-makers during youth-focused events and present the recommendations developed throughout the project.
These exchanges will provide an opportunity to present the recommendations developed throughout the project and amplify the voices of young people within European institutions.
